This is where Peapod comes in. It is an online grocery store that comes to your door. Peapod is partnered with your local grocery store, so your groceries always arrive fresh and easily right to your home
The truth is Peapod has come a long way in the last year or so. But it has come a long way, thanks to customer suggestions. Today's Peapod is bigger, better, and even more practical for every family.
I was excited to try Peapod because I have three kids running around and no time for trying to find the best deals with coupons and running around town for everything I needed.
They give you three ways to shop. 1.You can go through the aisles on your computer just as if you were at the store. 2. Type in the name brand or item you are looking for. 3. You can even type in your entire grocery list and they will pull up all items in the database.

They are not kidding! EVERYTHING in the store is cheap AND Name Brand. You may have a negative attitude about wholesale or liquidation food items but in this economy everyone needs a little help..
It seems like more and more prices of food is going up and the prices were extremely high before. I can choose between a fancy grocery store or United Grocery Outlet in my town. Sure, shopping with coupons is fun but when I can get Kraft dressing for .60 a bottle there, Im not going to shop at Publix just to have my starbucks with me while I shop.

Saving on Groceries
In order to save on groceries first of all, you have to KNOW what the prices are in which stores to
know if what you are getting is a good buy or not; best way to do
this is walking thru the various stores & checking prices; when you
get a good buy on meat, what I do is buy the family packs that I KNOW
are a good price; I find it easiest to do it on the stove; I use
FREEZER paper which is the old white butcher paper you get 150 feet
for about $5; freezer tape is fine; any good holding tape you have on
hand will work; I rip off paper that will fit the size of what I am
going to wrap; like 8 sheets; then I rip off the tape & put 1 end on
the door handle; I leave a SHARPIE permanent marker in the freezer
paper box so always have handy; then I wrap the meat up securely; &
put what it is ie chicken breast; & the DATE; this keeps the food FAR
BETTER than zip lock; and any hunter will tell you it is the ONLY
thing to wrap up their deer, elk, what have you with! (plus it's
cheaper, & keeps freezer burn out far better! & easier on the planet!)
BREAD keeps up to 3 months in the freezer (all bread items do).
